Dream Therapy

Dream Therapy — installation view

Installation view, 2015.

Project Overview

For this durational photo series, I converted my bedroom into a stage and documented the process for 6 months. I started with a few pieces that I built out of cardboard and paper but after several weeks I began to have dreams where I would experience myself arranging elements of the installation. Living and sleeping inside of the composition was beginning to affect my dreams. At a certain point, my dream self had begun to do the work and my waking self would simply arrange the bits and pieces during the waking hours to match with my memory of the room in the dream.
